In an ongoing effort to provide a full line of Wheel & Brake Shop Equipment to our customers, Bauer recently announced that it has added an Aircraft Rotor and Torque Tube Brake Cleaner to its line of wheel and brake equipment. For everyone involved with aircraft brake service and overhaul, cleaning is a task that takes valuable manpower, resources, and money. The Bauer Aircraft Rotor and Torque Tube Brake Cleaner can reduce cleaning times, improve efficiency and reduce cost.

The Bauer Model 9571 Aircraft Rotor and Torque Tube Brake Cleaner can accept and very effectively clean brakes from virtually any aircraft. The special basket is designed to take a wheel brake, torque tube and stator rings. This concept ensures that all of the components of the brake set are kept together during cleaning, which is most important during service and overhaul.

The average cleaning process is 10 minutes and is under the control of a user-friendly automatic control system. This is a great improvement over previous methods which could take an hour per assembly. The unit is constructed of reinforced hi-grade steel and is rubber lined to reduce noise and wear. The unit is freestanding and easy to move if equipment is being rearranged in the workshop.

This equipment is manufactured for Bauer in the UK and is imported by Bauer for distribution and product support in the Americas. The Aircraft Rotor and Torque Tube Brake Cleaner has been in service in this industry worldwide for more than 10 years.

In addition to the Brake Cleaning Equipment, Bauer has added the following equipment to its wheel shop line. The new Bauer Model 8071 Non-Tilting Wheel Build-Up Stand is ideal for small aircraft and nose wheels. It has all the features of the Universal Wheel Build-Up Stand without the tilt feature. All wheel adapters can be used with either unit.

Bauer now offers a walk-thru version of the Model 8571 Single or Dual Tire Inflation Safety Cage. This is ideal for shops that are set up for inline flow of production.
