| Message From the President Expanding the Value Channel As we enter our 6th decade as the industry’s leading manufacturer and supplier of aircraft component test systems, we have been examining – and wish to devote this newsletter to – the ways in which we can expand our value channel in service to our customers.
The success of our wheel and brake shop business is now and will continue in the future to be based on our ability to listen to customers and to provide them with the equipment they require to run their businesses efficiently, safely and with high productivity.
Dass Aero Engine Services (DAES), headquartered in Arlington, Texas, and headed by Alan Codlin, is a global services company with offices in 13 different countries throughout the world. Bauer and DAES have had a longstanding relationship, with DAES acting as an extension to Bauer’s sales and marketing team. |
New Project The Process of Development at Bauer We are continually developing new products and refining existing product designs at Bauer. The availability of new test stand components and instruments as well as customer requirements, both capability and budget have traditionally driven this process.
Growing up in a Bristol family of 11 children (Jeff was 9th) can sure teach a fellow organization and discipline. It has been nearly one year since Avtron and Bauer announced their business alliance. Since then, I have visited with many of our existing customers as well as new, potential customers. I talked with most of these customers about the alliance and our goals. |
